Summary of Experience
Valerie has been with Access Test Prep since 2014, and is a former attorney (JD, New York University 1989) who received a Master of Science degree in School Counseling from Mercer University in 2015. She has subject matter expertise in writing and college essay development and has proofread and edited numerous book chapters and articles. Valerie also has been working as a part-time application reader for the Emory University Office of Undergraduate Admission from 2013 until the present. At both Access Test Prep and during her year-and-a-half long field placement in the College Counseling Department at the Weber School, Valerie has helped a myriad of students identify their ideal college lists, brainstorm college essay topics, and write beautiful essays.
Valerie tailors her approach to the individual needs of each student, giving them the attention they need to create applications that perfectly express their passions and interests.
